She was born in Farmington, the daughter of Charles A. and Norma (Gagne) Drake. She was educated in Jay and Skowhegan schools.
Amy was a cheerleader in grammar school. She liked fishing, swimming, music and shopping. She loved being with her friends and her cat, Sissy.
She is survived by her daughter, Torence Drake of Norridgewock; her mother, Norma of Skowhegan; a half-brother, Allen Drake Jr. of Fayette; four half-sisters, Joyce Drake of East Livermore, Diane Sanborn of West Gardiner, Rhonda Drake of Livermore Falls and Cindy Whitehead of Denver, Colo.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins
