Oliver Drake was a Revolutionary soldier, beginning his service at Bunker Hill, Capt. James Perry's Co., Col. Paul Sargeant's regiment. He also served as a marine on the frigate "Boston" commanded by Samuel Tucker. He was five feet eight inches tall, light complextion.
