Mrs. Lula (Drew) Demko, 83, born in Baldwin County, Alabama and a resident of Bay Minette, Alabama, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at her residence. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Julia D. Hinote, Bay Minette, AL., Karan D. (Jim) Lewis, Stockton, AL.; eight grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; two brothers, Murray Edward Drew, Mt. Pleasant, TN., Edson Drew, Mobile, AL.; her sister, Marie Drew Wooten, Atmore, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Demko and son, Charles Douglas Demko.
The funeral service will be held Friday, July 27, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Reverend Leo Luker officiating. Interment will follow Monday, July 30, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 27, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Community Hospice of Baldwin County, 311 D'Olive Street, Bay Minette, Alabama 36507 or to the charity of your choice.
Active pallbearers will be Charles Edward Demko, Joseph Wade Demko, George Barry Demko, William Carl Middleton,Jr. James Brandon Lewis, Charls Haywood Hinote and Mark Damon Lewis.
