MAUREEN (DRISCOLL ) ANDERSON, 75 ROCKFORD - Maureen (Driscoll) Anderson, 75, lifelong Rockford resident, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, in Rockford Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness from complications of asthma. Born Nov. 30, 1935, daughter of Phillip and Frances (McLee) Driscoll. Graduated from Muldoon High School in 1953 and attended Northern Illinois University. Married Braden G. Anderson on Aug. 26, 1961, in Rockford. She was the quintessential devoted wife and mother, always there to wipe a tear or bring out a smile. She had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and everyone loved to hear her laugh. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing bridge and 500. She had played in a 500 Club with the same group of friends for more than 47 years. She loved taking vacations at Green Lake, chatting on the phone and was a wonderful seamstress. Maureen was a woman with very deep faith, an angel and a saint to all who knew her. She will be missed greatly. Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Anderson, Shelly (Mike) Greenlee and their daughters, Megan, Britlyn and Jaden; Kathy (Tim) Naill and their children, Braden, Cole and Lauren, Bridget (Mike) Lane and their sons, Wyatt and Fletcher; brother, Phil Driscoll; brother-in-law, Clayton (Barbara) Anderson; sister-in-law, Terese Driscoll; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Brad on June 12, 2009 and brother, Jack Driscoll. Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, in Holy Family Catholic Church with visitation from 10 a.m. to time of Mass; the Rev. Jospeh P. Naill will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the
