Former Lima resident,Lon W.Driver, 91,who had lived in Fort Wayne, Ind., since 1924, died at 12:56 p.m. Saturday at Lutheran Home there. He was born May 31, 1893,in Lima,the son of Benjamin and Ellen (Early) Driver. He married Linnie M. Joseph, who preceded him in death. Mr. Driver retired as a conductor in 1958 after completing a 41-year career with the former Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of the Lincolnshire Church of the Brethren in Fort Wayne.
Survivors include two daughters, Ada Roth and Helen Witte, both of Monroeville, Ind.; a grandson; three grandchildren; and a brother, Milton Driver of Lima.
Services will be at 10 a.m. (11 a.m. Ohio time) Tuesday at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home Fort Wayne, Rev. 1. James Eshleman officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lewis Grove Cemetery, Lima.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.rn.. (Indiana time) Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributations may be made to the Lutheran Home.
