Chalene "Cheri" (Dubel) Smith, age 54 of Gillette, WY passed away from an ongoing battle with breast cancer at Close to Home Hospice House in Gillette, WY.
Parents: James and Norma (Farris) Dubel.
Siblings: sister B. (Dubel) Kjensmo; brothers J. Dubel and L. Dubel.
College: Casper College with a degree in Computer Programming.
Work History: computer programmer with the Campbell County in Gillette, WY, more than 10 years, post office, 5 years at Razor's Edge, an office position for P&H Mining, Flightline and Global Heat Transfer for a couple years.
Spouse: Kurt Smith on September 16, 1989.
Not having children the couple had numerous dogs, which were their children.
Others that are surviving her are her aunt, niece, and many great-nephews and great-nieces.
She will always be remembered for her great work ethics, customer service, working with values and integrity, teaching her younger peers good work ethic. Always striving to make her employer a success.
Hobbies: spending time with her dog, walking with her. Lexi is missing her.
