Monetta, SC – Rosa Mae Duffie Bodie died Sunday, June 20, 1999.
Mrs. Bodie, 76, resided at 5757 Columbia North Hwy., Monetta.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church. The Revs. James Holston and Maurice Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Lutheran Church Cemetery, Gilbert.
A native of Saluda, she was a daughter of the late Genus and Reba Temples Duffie. Mrs. Bodie was a textile employee.
She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Dorcas Sunday School class and custodian for over 19 years.
She was the widow of Jacob Charles Bodie.
Surviving are three sons, Raymond Bodie and Wayne Bodie, both of Monetta and W.D. Bodie, Atlanta; one daughter, Carolyn Cockrell, Monetta; two half-brothers, Homer Duffie, Aiken and Pete Duffie, Warrenville; two half-sisters, Sarah Anderson, Warrenville and Kathy Holsonback, Aiken; eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John C. Howard, Don McCarty, Bobby Cone, Danny Miller, Charles McKay and Tristan DuBose.
Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Bethel Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund., P.O. Box 68, Monetta, 29105.
Friends may call at the residence of her son, Raymond Bodie, 35 Holston St., Monetta.
