Betty Glynn Dunlap, childhood sweetheart and wife of 72 years to Robert J. Dunlap Jr, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 10, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Sweatman MS, and moved to Memphis where they raised three sons: Michael Ross (Barbara), George Bennett (Vicki) and Robert Joe (Deborah). Momma Glynn has three grandchildren, Chad Dunlap, Ashley Lorton (Nathan), and Miles Dunlap.
Preceded in death by her sister Margaret Lou Bennett, she also leaves two sisters, Kay Wall and Rebecca Cupples (Steve), several nieces and nephews, and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 beginning at 1:30 pm followed by a funeral service at 2:30 pm all at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue.
