Leon Reporter, Sept 27, 1917

Mrs. B Frank Craigo.
Adella May Durell was born near Belvidere, Ill, May 10, 1880, and died at Abingdon, Ill, September 19, 1917, aged 37 years 4 months and 9 days. She cam to Iowa with her parents in 1885 and to Leon in 1888. Here she grew to womanhood, attending school and graduating with the class of 1900.

She was married to Frank Craigo, Feb 7, 1901. To this union one daughter was born, Dorothea May, May 9, 1905. Her husband died May 24, 1907. Since her husband's death she has made her home at Davenport, Iowa.

Mrs. Craigo united with the Leon Baptist Church during the year 1897 in which church she held membership at the time of her death.

Alone in the world with her daughter she has had to face struggle and difficulty but in it all she has preserved as every christian should. It would seem if any one deserved cred before the Master it is a widow who strives to keep a home together and support her child.

She is survived by her daughter, her mother, Mrs. H. A. Kelly, one brother, L.A. Durrell of Leon, Iowa, and one sister, Mrs. H. M. Cochran of Milwaukee, Wis.

Funeral services were conducted from the Leon Christian church on Saturday, Sept 22nd at 2:30 pm by Henry Esch, pastor of the Decatur Christian Church. Interment was in Leon Cemetery.
