Dyer, Gladys Ann 04/15/1937 ~ 12/22/2013 ESCONDIDO -- Gladys born in Bellingham, WA to Bud and Ethel Nichols passed away in Escondido, CA, with her loving family at her side on December 22, 2013, at the age of 76. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Richard "Dick" Dyer of Escondido; daughter Mary Jo Tillotson of Escondido; son Michael Dyer of Lake Elsinore, CA; grandsons Ryan Tillotson of San Marcos, CA and Christian Dyer of Moraga, CA; granddaughters Mayson Tillotson of Berkley, CA and Meghan Dyer of South Lake, TX and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She married Dick in November 1964 in Bellingham, WA while he was stationed there. After Dick retired from the USAF, the family moved to Escondido in 1975. A memorial service will be held at the Escondido Moose Lodge, 25721 Jesmond Dene Road, Escondido, CA 92026-8627 on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a tax deductible-donation in Gladys Dyer's memory to: Moose Charities, 155 S. International Drive, Mooseheart IL. 60539. A private interment is planned at Miramar National Cemetery at a later date.
