Duane Eads, 64, of Cheyenne died Jan. 8 in Cheyenne.

Duane was born May 9, 1946, in Denver and was the son of Chester W. (Bill) and Gertrude Eads. He graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper in 1964.

Duane's career was in the trucking industry working for his father, others and eventually himself. He enjoyed road trips, time with his family, good discussions and visiting the Village Inn often.

He is survived by companion, Alma White of Cheyenne; sons, Todd Eads (Kelly) of Portsmouth, R.I., Mark Eads (Jasminka) of Palm Desert, Calif.; daughter, Sara Grady (Derek) of Parker, Colo.; granddaughter, Eileen Eads of Portsmouth; grandsons, Austin Eads of Portsmouth, Mark Eads of Palm Desert and Samuel Eads of Palm Desert; three aunts; and numerous cousins throughout the United States.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester W. (Bill) and Gertrude Eads; a daughter, Mandi Eads; a son, Brent Eads; and many aunts and uncles.

Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Cheyenne Brethren Church, 2600 E. 12th St. Cremation at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.

Friends may contribute to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. Flowers may be sent to 1917 S. 1st Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82007.
