She was born on Oct. 28, 1894 in Rockcastle County, the daughter of the late William and Elender Newcomb Eads. She was a retired cook for the Brodhead Grade and High School and was a member of the Ottawa Baptist Church.
Survivors are: two sons, Hubert Adams of Crab Orchard, and Walter Adams of Brodhead; two daughters, Miss Edna Adams and Mrs. Mary Holcomb both of Brodhead; eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Loyal H. Adams and by a son.
Services were held June 26, 1992 at the Ottawa Baptist Church with Bros. R.C. Flynn and Vestal Meece officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Watson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Johnny Henson, Harold Taylor, Johnny Adams, David Wilson, Gary Asher and Ricky Kirby.
