Jennifer L. Balaban of Bloomington, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at Bloomington Hospital. She was 44 years old.
Born May 28, 1964, in Bloomington, Indiana, she was the daughter of Phillip D. and Carol S. (Baugh) Eads. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Apostolic Church. She married Tom Balaban on January 12, 1988.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Tom Balaban, and their children, Hope and Luke Balaban; one sister, Kim Eads and her companion Joe Maragioglio of Bloomington; one brother, Daren Eads and his wife Susan of Bloomington; her father, Phillip Eads and his companion Lou Sheffield of Bloomington; her stepfather, Ray Estep of Bedford; her mother-in-law, Sharon Russell and her husband Robert of Florida; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Sue Eads; a son, Kevin Matthew Balaban; and one brother, Tim Eads.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Apostolic Church, 8035 S. Strain Ridge Road, with Brother Bob Weir officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
