Lorraine Ruth Eads, 84, of Camarillo, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 and is now with God, whom she loved all her life. She was a very loving and giving Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma and we will miss her.
Lorraine was born May 22, 1932, in Santa Paula, California. Her family moved to Thousand Oaks when she was in the third grade. She graduated from Moorpark High School in 1950 and was married to Charles in 1952. They began their family in Oxnard and moved to Camarillo in 1962. She was a lifetime resident of Ventura County.
Lorraine began work at Allis Chalmers Company in 1950, followed by the birth of her children and then worked for the Oxnard Union High School District from 1965 through 1994 retiring as Accounting Clerk.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Dude” Eads in 2006, her mother Velma Williams in 2003, her father John “Joe” Shelley in 1991, and her sister Janet Vaughan in 2004.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the dedicated caregivers who lovingly assisted with mom’s care over the last several years. In particular, we appreciate the compassion of Ashley’s Manor staff over the last three years.
A chapel service will take place on Friday, March 24, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park Chapel of the Islands, 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo, CA followed by graveside services and reception.
