CLARK, Roxie Joyce – age 82, of Kingston, Kings Co., passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015, in the Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Cherryfield, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Stella (Burgoyne) Eagles. Roxie was a devoted mother and loving grandmother, who adored her two grandchildren. She loved to sing and play her guitar, bake, was an avid gardener and especially enjoyed tending to her roses. Roxie was a member of the Soldiers Memorial Health Auxiliary and had been a sales representative for a home insulation firm. Surviving; are a daughter Deborah (Robert) Fraser, Porters Lake; sons, Glenn Clark, Kingston; Timothy (Mary) Clark, Timberlea; Lindsay (Kim) Clark, Lunenburg; granddaughter, Katarina Fraser, Calgary, Alta.; grandson, Ryland Fraser, Porters Lake; brothers, Wayne (Theresa) Eagles, Cherryfield; Ronald (the late Joan) Eagles, Scarsdale, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband, James Clark; sister, Faye (Jack) Crosby; brother, Vincent Eagles. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll-free 1-855-825-3448. Rev. Sarah Scott officiating, with a reception to follow. Burial in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, North River, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. The family would like to say special thanks to all the staff at Grand View Manor, Berwick, for their compassionate care given to Roxie.
