Baker Gloria, 54, died July 6, 1982 at her home on Old Mill Road in Fort Wayne. She was found floating in the indoor pool of her home by Richard E. Baker, her husband. Coroner’s office ruled the death an accidental drowning due to hypoglycemic shock during which the blood sugar drops. She had a history of diabetes. She was born in Garrett to Leon and Dorothy McCord Eagles Poppy and grew up in Albion. She is survived by her husband, her aunt, Jane Eagles of Albion; and a stepsister, Helen Powell of Albion. Funeral last Friday in Fort Wayne. Burial, Rose Hill Cemetery. + 7-6-1982
