Shirley Eastabrook Autzen, 88, died March 7 at Blair. Funeral services were March 10 at Fort Calhoun.
Mrs. Autzen was born June 16, 1898 at Carlton to Frank and Agnes Eastabrook. The family moved to a farm east of Litchfield in 1903.
She married Elmer Diefenbaugh on June 10 1918. They farmed near Litchfield until Elmer's death in 1937.
She moved to Fort Calhoun in 1943 where she later married John Autzen.
Mrs. Autzen was living in a nursing home in Blair when she died.
Surviving are her daughters, Lois Kieborz and Peggy Martin, both of Ventura, Calif., Fern Kraus of Valley and Margaret Van Deusen of Omaha; sons Dale Diefenbaugh of Fort Calhoun and Don Diefenbaugh of Lakeside, Ore.; 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, other relatives and a host of friends.
