Ida Lee Beck was born Feb. 15, 1945, in McCool, Miss., the daughter of Annie D. and Wilson Edwards, who both preceded her in death. Ida also was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Beck, and her brother, Wilson Edwards, Jr.
Ida was educated in the Mississippi school system. In 1968, she moved to Springfield with her husband, Mr. Otha Beck. To this union, six children were born.
In her spare time, she enjoyed being outside and working around the house. She also enjoyed being with her family.
Ida passed away peacefully in her home Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007. She leaves to cherish her memory husband, Otha Beck of Alexandria, La.; two sons; three daughters; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
