Afton Egbert Wood Anderson "Sue" Our loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away at her daughter's home, March 26, 2006. Sue was born in Perry, Idaho, January 1, 1916 to Lydia Bennett Egbert and Herbert Hyrum Egbert. She was the second daughter of six girls; Erma, Eva, Leone, Eunice and Margie. Sue graduated from Pocatello High School and went on to Idaho State University for two years. She married Lile Raymond Wood, May 11, 1937 in Evanston, Wyoming and later divorced. She married Vincent C. Anderson, November 6, 1964 in Casper, Wyoming.

Four children survive her; John Herbert Wood (Nancy), Barthop Texas. Colleen Lile Wood Aird (James), West Jordan, Utah. Gary Stephen Wood (Michelle), Indianapolis, Indiana and Edwin Michael Wood (Elerie), Independence, Kentucky. Sue has seven grandchildren, Duchesne, Becky, Alyson, Jamie, Tracie, Thor, Nate and Andrew and three great grandchildren, Becca, Alysa and Halie.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Erma Sappington, Eva Eldredge and her husband, Vincent C. Anderson. She was loved by many nieces and nephews and will be missed by all. We love you mom and will miss you. Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon Friday, March 31, 2006 at the Garden Park Ward, 1150 Yale Avenue, Salt Lake City. Friends and family may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.).
