Harry A. Eielson, Jr, age 81 of Nashville, TN, passed away on November 7, 2015. He was born to the late Harry A. Eielson, Sr. and Lydia Anne Eielson on June 8, 1934 in Springfield, IL. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Julia Anne Eielson Winter. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy (Dot) I. Eielson and son, Harry Halbert (Hal) Eielson.

He graduated from Florida State University and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He served 8 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was retired from American General Insurance Co. and Dillard's Department Stores. He was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Donelson Station Senior Center.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 3259 McGavock Pk, Nashville, TN with Rev. Rick Roberts officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home.
