FLUKE - Carrie Ada Fluke, daughter of Robert and Catherine Elliott was born in Reasoner, Iowa, September 30, 1884, and passed away April 28, 1983 at the Carlisle Care Center at Carlisle, Iowa at the age of 98 years, 5 months and 28 days.
She was united in marriage to Loren O. Fluke, April 18, 1903 at the Methodist Church in Chariton, Iowa. To this union six children were born: Ima Whitlatch of Chariton, Iowa, Collins E. of Des Moines, Iowa, Kathryn Sanger of Valley Center, California, James C. of Des Moines, Iowa, Robert K. of Des Moines, Iowa and Loren O. of San Diego, California.
She was preceded in death by her husband Loren, two brothers, Robert and Nisley and one granddaughter, Joyce Fluke Horton.
She leaves to mourn her, one sister, Martha Wishart of Chariton, Iowa, twenty-one grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 Monday, May 2nd at the Fielding Funeral Home with Reverand Ronald Stein officiating. Interment will be at San Diego, California.
