Shirley Jean Ellison Pearson, 80, of Spartanburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday February 2, 2016.
Native of Spartanburg County, daughter of William and Elizabeth Winstead Ellison; widow of Danny Pearson.
A member of Praise Cathedral, she attended Pacolet Mills Church of God and was a retired employee with Startex Mill.
Survivors include three daughters, Libby Ezell (Tom) and Melody Charlene Vinson (Gene) both of Woodruff and Marci Melton (Paul) of Spartanburg; one step son, Gary Pearson (Susan) of Greer; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and three step grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.
Visitation was 6:00–8:00 PM Thursday February 4, 2016 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Woodruff, SC.
Funeral Services were 2:00 PM Friday February 5, 2016 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in The Strilbing Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Michael Hutchins and Rev. Jeff Shirley. Interment followed in Graceland East Memorial Park Cemetery, Simpsonville, SC.
The family expressed Special Thanks to Spartanburg Regional Hospice for the loving kind and compassionate care given to Mrs. Pearson and the family.
