Carolyn Holliday Ellison, 84, widow of David A. Ellison died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Abbeville Nursing Home. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Pauline Knight Holliday. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Williamston. Surviving are: sons, Roger Ellison and wife Denise of Anderson, Ron Ellison and wife Laura of Greenville, and Richard Ellison and wife Shannon of Honea Path; daughter, Rhonda Mauldin and husband Keith of Belton; brother-in-law, Ed Ellison and sister-in-law, Joyce Ellison; 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Service will be held 3pm Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Robertson and Rev. Ronald Ellison officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm at Cox Funeral Home. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Abbeville Nursing Home. The family will be at the home of Rhonda Mauldin. A special thanks to Abbeville Nursing Home for their love and care provided.
