Ermal M. Dean, 88, of Belvidere, IL died early Sunday morning, April 22, 2007 at Maple Crest Nursing Home after a short illness.
Ermal was born April 19, 1919 in Howards Ridge, Ozark, MO the daughter of Henly and Clara Elizabeth (Welch) Ellison. She worked for the Chrysler Corp. in Belvidere retiring in the mid 1980's. She loved to quilt and work wordsearchs and enjoyed spending time in her garden.
Survivors include her children, Ova (Harry) Albrecht of Ft. Wayne, IN, Betty Johnson of Rockford, IL, and Keith (Pamela) Dean of McHenry, IL; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ermal is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Jimmy Dean and Rayburn Dean; and brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 28, 2007 in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL, with Rev. Lisa Kruse-Safford, pastor of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church officiating. Private family burial will be in Highland Garden of Memories. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to service time on Saturday.
