ENGLERT, Norman M. Age 89 of Dayton, passed away Saturday November 3, 2007, at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by parents Otto and Mayme Englert. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Pauline "Pat"; daughter Jill Jones (Darrell) of West Carrollton; son Norman L. Englert of Clearwater, FL. Mr. Englert was born June 20, 1918, in Dayton. He graduated from the University of Dayton, retired from NCR with 39 years of service and was a member of Shiloh Church of over 55 years. He served in WWII in CBI Theater and was a member of the Hump Pilot's Association and Caterpillar Club. Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday November 8, at Baker Hazel & Snider Funeral Home, 5555 Philadelphia Drive at N. Main St. Rev. Richard VanTine will officiate. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Church or Hospice of Dayton.
