Fort Myers News-Press, January 19, 2011 - Sherry Elaine Aversa (Epstein), 74, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011. She was born on January 19, 1936 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Charles and Dorothy Epstein. She has been a resident since moving here in 1975 from New Jersey. Sherry worked as a Nurse and is a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving family including her 3 children, Cheryl Aversa of Ft. Myers, Charles and Darlene Aversa of Cape Coral, Toni Aversa of Ft. Myers Beach; 9 grandchildren, Christopher Proia, Tiffany Proia, Joey Proia, Michael Aversa, Celina Clifford, Kevin Clifford, Melissa Clifford, Erin Aversa, Alica Clifford; 16 great grandchildren, Gianna, Dominic, Carina, Dez, Tyler, Dylan, Miranda, Josiah, Peyton, Cody, Violett, Kaylin, Logan, Destiny, Niko, Kaylee; her brother, Charles; 4 sisters, Margo, Carolee, Linda, Marqueta; nieces, nephews and cousins; and her loving pet, Baby. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, in 2002 and great grandson, Cole. Visitation will be from 12 pm on Friday, January 21st at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral with the funeral service at 2 pm. Burial to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
