GEORGETOWN -- Tinnie Ethridge Burnette, 65, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 1996, at her half sister's home in McClellanville.

She was born August 24, 1931, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ellen Yarborough Ethridge.

Mrs. Burnette grew up in Florida and attended Orlando High School. She lived in Florida for several years before moving to Perry, Ga., where she retired from Piggly Wiggly. She moved to Georgetown three years ago and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, David Burnette of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Janice Jodsaas and Linda Ashe, both of Perry; a half sister, Vonnie Dawsey of Georgetown ; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today in Elmwood Cemetery Annex.

Georgetown chapel of Mayer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
