ANDREWS - Edith Hallie Ethridge Davis, 86, widow of Rev. James Goldie Davis, died Tuesday, November 14, 2005, at Kingstree Nursing facility in Kingstree. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2005, at the Bethel Cemetery. Burial, directed by Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis was born May 14, 1919 in Georgetown; a daughter of John Wesley Ethridge and Suley Casselman Ethridge. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survived by two sons, John Wesley Davis of Hendersonville, NC and James (Jimmy) Davis of Andrews; 14 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren. McKenzie Funeral Home, Andrews Chapel is honored to serve the Davis Family.
