Agnes R. Faber, 89, died Sunday June 10 at Oswego Hospital.
She was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late John and Ann (Daly) Roark. She graduated from Oswego High School and Oswego Normal School in 1922.

She was employed as a substitute teacher at Oak Hill School in Oswego.
In June 1923, she married Andrew J. Faber. Upon his death in 1953, she returned to teaching fourth grade in the Fulton public school system. She retired in 1966.
She was a communicant of St. Paul's Church and a member of the New York State retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Kronenbitter of Oswego, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, a son, John A. Faber, died in November 1981 in Colorado and a grandson, William Kronenbitter, died in Oswego in 1978.
Burial was in St. Paul's Cemetery.

Funeral services for Agnes R. Faber, who died Sunday were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church.

The Rev. John Daley, pastor of St. Mary's Church in Dewitt and nephew of Mrs. Faber, celebrated the Catholic Funeral Mass.
Offeratory gifts were presented by Mrs. Faber's great-grandchildren.
Burial was in St Paul's cemetery.
