Ellie T. Faneuf CHARLESTON - Ellie Mae T. Faneuf, age 88, slipped away on Tuesday morning, August 2, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Family and friends are invited to attend her "Going Home" services on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11 AM at the James A. McAlister Chapel. Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery on Highway 61. She was one of 9 children born to Enoch and Lottie Mae Tennant on November 27, 1922 in Manning, SC. She was an active member of the New Covenant Church of God on Ashley Phosphate Road. She loved her family, church family and above all her Lord. She is survived by 3 daughters, Sibyl (Dan) Brothers of Goose Creek, SC, Linda Gantt of North Charleston and Karen (Thom) Markos of North Charleston, SC. She has 6 grandchildren, Greg (Paige) Wong of Ladson, SC, Chrissy (John) Madray of Huger, SC, Matthews Stevens, Goose Creek, SC, Tanya (Tommy) Hucks of Summerville, SC, Chad Gantt of Charleston, SC, and Dana Fox of Goose Creek, SC, and 7 great-grand children, Alex Wong, Hunter Young, Maegan and Austin Berry,Tyler Hucks, Caitlyn and Emma Fox along with many nieces and nephews who are going to miss her kind and loving ways.
