FANEUFF John "Jack" John "Jack" Faneuff, Sr., age 71, of Rossford, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Friday, December 25, 2009. He was born on September 30, 1938, in Toledo to Edwin and Ruth (Lahey) Faneuff. Jack proudly served his country in the US Army as a cook from 1956 to 1958 and was honorably discharged. He married his wife, Carol (Anderson) Faneuff in 1960 and together they raised three boys. She preceded him in death in 1991. Jack was a machine operator at Chrysler for 30 years retiring in 1998. He was also a volunteer fireman for the Rossford Fire Department. Jack was an experienced cook and enjoyed hosting parties and cooking for friends and family. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking and camping at his son's campground, Leafy Oaks in Clyde, Ohio. Preceding Jack in death was his parents, wife and brother, Ron Faneuff. Surviving are his sons, John (Gina), Randall (Joan) and Robert (Mary) Faneuff; grandchildren, Christine, Douglas, Cody, Eli, Josh and Aaron Faneuff; great grandchildren, Charlie, Carson, Armondo, and Joey IV; brother, Richard (Susan) Faneuff; sisters, Marilyn Coehrs, Marcia (Charles) Bohnsack, Carol (Angelo) DeLuca; sister-in-law, Linda Faneuff and brothers-in-law, Joseph (Patricia) Anderson and Robert (Jean) Anderson. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd., on Wednesday, December 30th from 2 to 8 p.m. where a Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Rossford with Rev. Kent Kaufman and Rev. Chris Bohnsack officiating. Interment will be private.
