Brian Farnon was born on November 27, 1911 to Robert and Elsie (Menzies) Farnon in Toronto, Canada. He spent his childhood in Ireland and England. During WWII, he served with the Canadian Allied Expeditionary Forces Band with his brother Robert. He immigrated to the United States in the late 1940's. He was an orchestra leader, and arranger, known for The Polka Parade (1955), The Spike Jones Show (1957) and BBC Show of the Week (1965). Brian and his band eventually performed at venues such as Ciro's, Harrahs and The Dunes as well. He was married to Rita Oehmen (1941), Dorothy Cavin (1958), and Lynn Hart (1996). Brian and Rita had three daughters; Sharon, Charmian and Darleen. A son, Brian, was born to he and his wife Dorothy. He died at age 98 on May 28, 2010 in Fair Oaks, California.
