1910 "Mrs Jennie B. Clark Dead. Mrs Jennie B. Clark died at Pittsburgh, Pa., Friday Morning, November 18th, at 9:00 O'clock while on a visit with relatives. She was 65, years, five months and ten days old at the time of her demise. The cause of her death was heart disease from which she had been a sufferer for some time but had not been seriously ill until six weeks prior to her death. The body was brought to Hollis, Kansas, and the funeral services were held at the Methodist church in that city Monday and interment made in the Hollis cemetery.

The deceased was born in Renfenshire, Scotland, June 8, 1845. She was united in marriage to James B. Clark at Trumplo, Wisconsin, on February 24, 1863. They came to Kansas in 1882 and located in Cloud County and removed from there to this County in 1907 where she has since resided.

She is survived by one son, W.R. Clark, west of town. As a mark of esteem in which deceased was held by her neighbors they sent a handsome floral offering to Hollis for the obsequies held there."
