EAST PEORIA, IL - Marilyn J. Berkley, 65, of 208 Pershing Place died at 3:03 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
Born June 28, 1936, in East Peoria to Cyril and Eleanor Grafelman Feehan, she married John F. Berkley on Nov. 24, 1956, in East Peoria. He died Nov. 8, 1982, in Peoria.
Surviving are five sons, Ronald of Colorado Springs, Colo., Gene of Bloomington, and Harold, Ralph and Michael, all of East Peoria; four grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Stoneburner of East Peoria and Barb (and Lyle) Schempp of Bloomington; and one brother, James (and Deb) Feehan of East Peoria.
She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2078 Auxiliary and American Legion Post 318 Auxiliary in Morton.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in East Peoria, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Vernon Bettermann will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.
