Ann Admire, 64, of Fountain Inn, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at McCall Hospice House following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Ann Therese Fegan on October 28, 1951, in Galesburg, IL to Louis and JoAnn Fegan.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Admire; her daughter, Denise Admire; her son, Robert (Sara) Admire; her brothers, Rodney (April) Fegan, Roger (Kerry) Fegan, and Louis Fegan; her sister, Jane (Davie) Powell; her grandchildren, Logan Harmon, Brandon Admire, and Kaylee Admire; and her many nieces and nephews that she adored.
Ann was also very close to her brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Patti Admire; her brother-in-law, Jack Admire, and her "Tennessee Sister", Jackie Groce.
She is preceded in death by her father, Louis Fegan; and her brother, Pat Fegan.
Ann was raised in rural Illinois but ventured with her husband and children to Tennessee in 1984. After their kids were grown, in 1996, Ann and Jerry moved to St. Croix for a few months and then landed in Fountain Inn, SC, where she lived out her years happily. Ann had such a love for reading, cooking, gardening, scrapbooking, cruising, and just living life to the fullest. Her motto was always "the more the merrier", which she always said whenever her children would invite over as many friends as possible for special occasions. She was loved by many and always had a smile on her face.
A private memorial service will be planned at a later date in Ann's hometown of Abingdon, IL for family and close friends.
Instead of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Ann Admire's name to the Cancer Society of Greenville County, which played an enormous role in caring for Ann during her battle.
