June died at her home on 7th Street, just over a month before her 90th birthday. She was the 11th of 12 children born to Joseph Fielding and Amy Arave Fielding, both from local pioneer families. She grew up in Jameston, attended the Jameston school and graduated from Shelley High School in 1941. On December 24, 1945, she married William Edgar Arnold in Idaho Falls. For the first five years after their marriage they lived in Onalaska, WA, then returned to Idaho, where he worked on Palisades Dam. They followed his work to Arizona, Oregon, and California, then spent 25 years in American Falls while he worked there, returning to Idaho Falls in March of 2000. June liked to knit and garden, but loved having company. Lately, she had missed the days when she and her husband, Bill, would have family to their home for a big dinner. To her last days, she would prepare her favorite food. Last Christmas, she was still making candy and cookies to share with family. June was always in a good mood; her infectious giggle and wonderful sense of humor will be sorely missed. Like her mother, June enjoyed playing cards. She could play cards and giggle all night. June enjoyed attending high school sports games when her nephews were playing. She was interested in current events and read the newspaper first thing every morning. June never wanted recognition for her generous commission and donation of the Veterans Memorial Monument at the Taylor Cemetery to honor its veterans, which will be appreciated and enjoyed by generations.

June often said, "What would we do without memories?" Now, even with memories, her family wonders, "What will we do without June?" Survivors include sister Louise Burton. Preceding were her parents, husband, infant son, five sisters (Eva Davis Humble, Ida Hampton, Alice Olney, Ruth Reid, and Bess Warren), and three brothers (Bill, Verl, and Frank.)Funeral Services held March 27, 2013, at Idaho Falls 2nd Ward, 855 S. Boulevard, Bishop Jay Doman officiating. Her cousin Doyle Arave dedicated the grave.
