Anna A. Finnegan, 91, passed away February 9, 2015 in Indianapolis, IN surrounded by her family. Anna was born March 21, 1923 to Anthony Benedict and Mary Worstel Schumacher. She was a homemaker and loved cooking and entertaining. She enjoyed golf and proudly displayed her two hole-in-one certificates. She also enjoyed bowling and crocheting.
Anna is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah, Sauer (Tom); grandchildren, Karen Sauer, Mary Pike (Ryan) Cynthia Ashburn (Tom) and great-grandchildren Cameron and Lauren Pike, Neven and Dusten Sauer and Elizabeth Ashburn. She will also be missed by her dog and constant companion Cimmie, who also survives.
Her beloved husband, Raymond Finnegan preceded her in death in 2005. Anna and Raymond were both veterans of the U.S. Army during WWII.
A brief viewing will be held at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL from 12:30 to 1:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2015 with a graveside service at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at 2:00 PM. Friends of Annie are invited to a Celebration of Life Terry’s house at 5:00 PM for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres
