Elaine Firman Biesinger passed away on January 9, 2015.

She was born August 10, 1929 in Salt Lake City to Don and Vera Firman.

Elaine was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many callings and where her beautiful alto voice was heard in many choirs. She was also involved in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren.

Elaine married H. Taylor Biesinger and together they raised five children. They were later divorced.

She is survived by her sister, Maureen (Bart) Wankier; children, Brent (Crystal) Biesinger, Sioux Anderson, Glen (LuAnn) Biesinger, Iris (Gary) Bradley, and Jill (Roger) Mann; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, Lon Anderson.

The family wishes to express appreciation to the staff at Heart and Home in Centerville who took such loving care of our mother the past few years.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m.
