Mrs. Leslie Besst Succumbs at Home In Newcomerstown

Mrs. Leslie Besst, 39, died at her home on Canal st., Newcomerstown, Thursday at 6 p.m. after a six weeks' illness.

Ada Irene Firman was born in Barberton on Feb. 25, 1906, a daughter of E.W. and A. Mae Fair Firman. She formerly lived in Coshocton and was graduated from Central high school in 1923. She had made her home in Newcmerstown for the past 17 years.

On July 6, 1926, she was united in marriage to Leslie Besst, who survives. Others surviving are a daughter, . . . ; her parents, two brothers, Roy and Ralph, Lakewood.

Mrs. Besst was a member of the United Brethren church, the missionary society and M. and M. class of the church.

Friends will be received at the Bonnell funeal home after 7:30 this evening. The body will be taken to the U.B. church Sunday at 2 p.m. (EWT) and services will be held there at 3 p.m. in charge of the pastor, Rev. L.N. Carmony assisted by Rev. L.S. Green, pastor of Trinity Methodist church. Interment will be in West Lawn cemetery.
