Mrs Anna Mae McCracken Fitzgerald, of Gaithersburg, MD. died Saturday at Holy Cross Hospital.
Mrs. Fitzgerald, born in Meadowview, VA. was the daughter of the late Joseph B. McCracken and Alcy Perry McCracken and the widow of Anthony Fitzgerald. Also preceded by a sister, Mary Willis.
Anna missed her husband so much after his death, because he was her life. She enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach and taking care of her pets. In earlier years she was employed for many years at Safeway.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Snyder and husband Kent of Maryland, Jacqueline Thomas and husband Terry of Virginia, grandchildren, Terry Thomas and wife Heather of Indiana, William Snyder and Kristine Wiegand and husband Sam all of Maryland and great great grandchildren, Issak, McKenzie and Anthony Thomas.
The family received friends 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the funeral home.
Funeral services were held at 11 AM, Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick MD.
Burial was made in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
