FINCK, Dorothy Gladys "Dot" - 86, Bible Hill, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, November 22, 2007, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born March 21, 1921, in Truro, she was the eldest daughter of the late Fred and Viola (Langille) Fitzgerald. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Dorothy is survived by sons, Ralph Jr. (Elsie), Bible Hill; Keith (Linda), Truro; Herbert (Patricia), Brule; daughters, Lena (Robert) Atkinson, Valley; Joanne Miller and friend Duncan McGuire, Glenholme; Sandra Coulter and friend Philip Hughes, New Glasgow; Victoria (Don) Worsley, Brentwood; sister-in-law, Hazel Dartt, Sackville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Finck Sr.; sisters, Mary Woodard, Freda LeBlanc, Lindy Mosher, and Greta MacCallum. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro, where the funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Rev. Lori Ramsey officiating. Interment in Terrace Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only. If so desired, donations in Dorothy's memory to a charity of one's choice are welcomed.
