FITZPATRICK Mrs. Nacissa South Fitzpatrick, wife of Ex-Congressman T. Y. Fitzpatrick, died at the home of her sister, at Forks of Elkhorn, near Frankfort, on Saturday night, March 23, 1901.
The funeral service was held yesterday afternoon. She died of pneumonia after a few days sickness. She was the daughter of Col. Jerry South whose family is extensively known in Kentucky. She was an aunt of congressman South Trimble. She was married to Mr. Fitzpatrick in 1883 and had one child. They have lived in Prestonsburg until March 4th, the expiration of his Congressional term. They were to make their future home on their farm near Forks of Elkhorn. She was for many years a member of the Christian church. She was social, generous, kind and popular. To her husband and family we extend our sympathy.
