Mrs. Julia Burke, 77, died at her home in Louisa, route 4, Sunday night at 9:40 after an illness of 4 months. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon from the home with the Rev. Allen Castle officiating. Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the Young Funeral Home. Daughter of the late Ulysses and Betty Maynard Fitzpatrick, she was the born at Clifford. She had been a resident of Louisa route 4 for 65 years and a member of the Baptist church for 55 years. Her husband, William Burke, preceded her in death in 1939. She is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. A. J. Crum, Glenhayes, Mrs. Sally Damron, and Mrs. Andy New both of Louisa; 2 brothers, James Fitzpatrick of Glenhayes and Shelton Fitzpatrick of Louisa; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
