Alice M. Andrews, a longtime Town of Guilderland resident, died Sunday, Jan. 24 at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home. She was 83.

Born in Delmar, she and her late husband Robert, owned and operated Andrew's Florist Shop and Andrew's Trailer Court until last year. She was a member of Hamilton Union Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Dwyer of Guilderland; two sisters, Jessie Mead of Selkirk and Julia Coughtry of Slingerlands; three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

OWNED FLORIST SHOP, TRAILER COURT

GUILDERLAND - Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday for Alice M. Andrews, 83, of Willow Street, who died Sunday in the Guilderland Center Nursing Home.

Mrs. Andrews, a native of Delmar, operated the Andrews' Florist Shop and Andrews' Trailer Court with her late husband, Robert, until last year.

She was a member of the Hamilton Union Presbyterian Church, Guilderland.

Survivors includes a daughter, Virginia Dwyer of Guilderland; two sisters, Jessie Mead of Selkirk and Julia Coughtry of Slingerlands; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. in the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland. [From unsourced clipping.]
