Mrs. John Flanagan, a resident of Nimrod for twenty-six years, passed away at her home at Nimrod on December 22, as was mentioned in this paper at the time.
Left to mourn her are her husband, John Flanagan, and two children, Francis Flanagan, of Nimrod, and Mrs. Lawrence Johnson, of St. Cloud, Minn.
Mrs. Flanagan would have been 72 years of age in February, and before her marriage to Mr. Flanagan was Bridget Griffen, daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Griffen, of St. Thomas, Minn.
Funeral services were held at Blue Grass, Minn. on December 26, Rev. Father Van de Roor officiating. The pallbearers were Edward Flanagan, Raymond Sweeney, William Schermerhorn, Gordon Schermerhorn, Eldred Westra, John Westra. Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Ellen Sweeney, Mrs. Maragaret Schermerhorn, Mrs. Mort Flanagan, Mrs. Peter Westra, Mrs. Matt Graba and Mrs. John Stigman.
