Flynn, Christopher Thomas Age 77, of Edina, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2009. Born in White Plains, NY, Chris resided in Minneapolis since the age of 5. A graduate of Annunciation Elementary School, DeLaSalle High School, and the University of Notre Dame, class of 1955, he served on board the USS Savage for 2 years following college. As a father, he was active in Annunciation School, as an alumnus of Notre Dame, he was a proud member of the Golden Domers. As an Edina resident, Chris was involved in various programs at OLG, such as ushering and religious education. He, along with his wife Roxanne, co-chaired the Minneapolis Aquatennial Boulevard Jr. Royalty Program. Preceded in death by parents, Christopher A. and Frances B. Flynn; brother, Richard; and granddaughter, Angela Marie Sandahl. He will be missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Roxanne; daughters, Roxanne (Jack) Sandahl and Cynthia (Jason) Luhm; son, Chris (Kerry); grandchildren, Jacob and Connor Sandahl, Kaitlyn, Ashley and Shannon Luhm, and Grace Flynn; sister-in-law, Mary Sennot; and nieces and nephews. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM, Friday at Our Lady of Grace, 5071 Eden Ave., Edina, with visitation one hour prior. Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel 952-920-3996
