Nora Fonseca Bonvillain, 79, a native of Cut Off and resident of Houma, died at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2004.
Services will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. Call Chauvin Funeral Home for time of service at 868-2536.
She is survived by three stepsons, Russell Bonvillain Sr. of Lafayette, Oneil Bonvillain Jr. and Byron Bonvillain of Houma; two daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" Rodrigue of Houma and Tammy R. Vanhaverbeke of Jeanerette; three stepdaughters, Joan Massey, Nadine Santa Cruz of Mississippi and Deborah Olivier of Houma; one granddaughter, Tasha LeBlanc; one great-granddaughter, Jordon LeBlanc; 17 step-grandchildren; and 19 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oneil Paul Bonvillain Sr.; her parents, Ellis Fonseca and Eve Fonseca Jeandron; eight brothers, Ellis, Claude, Wilton, Mack, Nolan, Paul, Jack and Sergan Fonseca; and four sisters, Viola Bourgeois, Lucile Rebstock, Edith Meritt and Rose Songe.
She was a homemaker.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
