For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: II Timothy 4:6-7

On September 5, 1960 in Houston, Texas, a son was born to Aaron and Anna Ford. They named him Aaron Benard Ford. He was one of seven children born to his parents.
Aaron was affectionately known as “Anard”, “Bubba” or just “Ford” by his family and friends.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Melvin Smith. In his later years, he joined Fallbrook Missionary Baptist Church.
In 1979 he graduated from Jersey Village High School in the Cypress Fairbanks School District. During this time, he also enrolled at Lone Star College and began taking classes to continue pursuing his education as an Auto Mechanic Technician. (one thing he did know is how to work on your car, and was good at it!)
From high school, off to the Military he went...for those who knew Aaron they knew he loved the Army! (Be all you can be) It was his life. He received numerous awards, just to mention a few: Army Achievement Medal, Armed Forces Components Achievement Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Brother of the Year Award, Secret Santa Award (he bought everybody a gift, even his dogs) and the Dominoes Award (he thought he was the winner all the time). Oops...The Boom Boom Room Award (lol)
He united in Holy Matrimony to Lorena Miller and to this union four boys were born: Christopher Aaron (Logan), Michael Jermaine, Joseph Alexander, Paul Allan all of San Antonio, Texas.
He served numerous tours of duty both National and International. Aaron went in the Army as Aaron B. Ford, after serving over 35 years, he retired at the rank of Sergeant Major. THANK YOU Aaron for serving our country.
Aaron was preceded in death by his parents Aaron and Anna Ford; brother Michael Aaron Ford; his running buddy, sister Bridgette Renee Ford (B. B.) back together again! and many aunts and uncles.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his sons Christopher Aaron (Logan), Michael Jermaine, Joseph Alexander and Paul Alexander; three sisters Karen Yvette Ford Todd (Gary), Tessia Marie Ford (Lenard) and Trivia Chenell Ford-Douglas; one brother Darryl Ford; a special friend Sharon Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
