Mrs. Grace Baxter, widow of Arthur Baxter, passed away Tuesday noon at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. Age 83 years. Grace Ford was born June 2, 1885, in Detroit and was married there to Mr. Baxter in 1907. He passed away in 1932 in Saginaw. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church and the League of Catholic Women. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy McInerney, Saginaw; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Berguss, Detroit; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will take place 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Case Chapel, 409 Adams St., 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas R. Horton will officiate, with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where they will meet 8 p.m. Wednesday, to say the Rosary. Those, who so desire, may give memorials to SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church.
