Helen F. Benesh, 81, Winneconne, died Sunday morning in Oshkosh Care Center. She was born Jan. 5, 1901, in Chicago, the daughter of Goudman and Anna Lund Forde. She married Harold "Joe" Benesh, Aug. 8, 1929, in Aurora, Ill. Mrs. Benesh was a graduate of Carl Schurz High School, Chicago, and attended Northwestern University, majoring in business administration. She was a legal secretary for various law firms in Chicago for many years, retiring in 1966 when she and her husband moved to Winneconne. She was a past member of the Winneconne Civic League. Surviving are her widower; and one brother, Alver Forde, Manitowoc. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Mueller Funeral Home, the Rev. W. Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Winneconne Cemetery.
